The Summer Refresher – Drink Recipe

There is nothing like a big icy glass of lemonade on a hot summer day! The only problem is most lemonades are chalked full of sugar – this is why I created The Summer Refresher. It delivers all that refreshing lemon flavour but without all the preservatives and sugar. It’s easy to make and it will cool you off! OH YEAH!

 

The Summer Refresher
Ingredients: makes 4 cups
4 cups water
Juice from one lemon
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1 tbs maple syrup
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbs chopped mint

 

How to Prepare:
Blend all your ingredients except the mint until smooth. Refrigerate until cool and add chopped mint. You can also replace one cup of water for one cup of ice for a refreshing way to enjoy this recipe right away. Store any leftovers in an airtight glass container in your fridge and consume within 3 days.

 

Make it extra special – rim the glass with maple syrup and coconut sugar and garnish with frozen raspberries.
