Rawtastic Pizza

What does a raw pizza look like? Even more important, what does a raw pizza taste like? If you would have told me five years ago that one day I would not only enjoy making a raw pizza, but would also LOVE the taste, I would have said your crazy. This recipe will get your taste buds rocking and your body thriving!

I am in love with my new Excalibur dehydrator which allowed me to create this amazing, nutritious pizza.

Ingredients

 

Pizza Crust
2 cups zucchini – diced
1 cup water
3 cups flax seeds – ground
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Blend all ingredients a food processor. Spread mixture out evenly on your dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 12 hours.

Pizza Sauce
4 tomatoes – chopped
1 can chickpeas
3 cloves garlic – minced
1 tblsp ginger – grated
1 tblsp tahini
1 tblsp Himalayan sea salt
1 tsp fresh black pepper
1/4 cup almonds
1/2 tsp cayanne
1/2 tsp curry powder

Blend ingredients in a food processor and place over top of your dehydrated pizza crust.

Pizza Toppings
Your choice

I love to add:

1 stock broccoli – chopped
1/2 red pepper – diced
1 tomato – diced
4 pitted green olives – diced
1/2 zucchini – diced
Add toppings evenly throughout your pizza and enjoy!

    For a change, try sprouted buckwheat instead of sunflower seeds next time (about 1 cup). Omit the water, use about 1/2 cup ground flax, and add some garlic, about 1 tbl coconut oil.  Mmm…

    I have changed my life style a few years ago and discovered healthy ingredients all this time.
    My favorite breakfast is quinoa with bluberries, rasberries, chia, walnuts, hemp and coconut oil.
    Nothing else. It is delicious.
    I thought it had been my invention but now, i know that others like you have invented it.
