No-Bake Almond Butter Loaf

Both paleo friendly and gluten free, my intention is for this recipe to become a family favourite as it has in ‘The Hart House’.

No-Bake Almond Butter Loaf

Serves: one 5x9' loaf
 
Ingredients
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 cup figs, chopped into 4 pieces
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup almond halves, slightly roasted
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor except the roasted almond halves. Blend until a batter is formed (approx. 1 minute). Roll the batter into a 5x9 loaf and press the roasted almond into the top of the loaf. Refrigerate the loaf for 60 minutes to allow it to firm up. Slice the loaf into desired portion sizes and enjoy a delicious way to increase your healthy protein for the day! Place any leftovers in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator. Consume within 3 days.
